XLITE J Polarized Fishing Glasses with Mirrored Category 3 Lenses
XLITE J is a pair of polarized fishing glasses developed for anglers who need effective control of reflected light, lightweight comfort and additional lateral protection during long sessions on the water. The DPOL Category 3 lenses combine a smoke base tint with an external mirrored finish, while polarization helps reduce glare reflected from the water surface. Removable side shields provide additional peripheral coverage, and the ultralight TR90 frame weighs only 20 grams. With UV400 protection, hydrophobic and anti-salt lens treatments, XLITE J is designed for demanding outdoor use in both freshwater and marine environments.

Fishing Glasses Built Around Glare Control and Side Protection
Fishing places very specific demands on sports eyewear. Strong sunlight can be reflected directly from the water surface, creating disturbing glare and making it more difficult to observe what is happening below or immediately around the surface.
The polarized DPOL lenses fitted to XLITE J are designed to help reduce this reflected glare. This supports more comfortable vision during prolonged exposure to bright conditions and can make details on and around the water easier to perceive.
The frame is also fitted with removable lateral shields. These additional side elements increase peripheral coverage against lateral light and exposure to wind without permanently changing the configuration of the glasses. They can therefore be removed whenever a more open frame is preferred.
DPOL Polarized Category 3 Lenses
XLITE J uses DPOL polarized Category 3 lenses with a smoke base tint and mirrored exterior finish. Category 3 is intended for bright light conditions, making this configuration particularly relevant for fishing during sunny days when reflected light from the water can become visually demanding.
Polarization works by helping to reduce specific reflected light that reaches the eyes after bouncing from flat or highly reflective surfaces such as water. For anglers, this means less distracting surface glare and improved visual comfort when continuously observing the water.
The lens also features a hydrophobic treatment, designed to reduce the tendency of water to remain on the lens surface, together with an anti-salt treatment specifically relevant for use in marine environments. The mirrored coating contributes to the lens's external appearance and complements its bright-light configuration without being confused with the separate polarizing technology.
