Demon Eyewear Warranty
Demon eyewear is designed to accompany you during sports, leisure time and outdoor activities. On this page you will find a clear explanation of what is covered by Demon’s 24-month commercial warranty, which situations are not covered, and how to request assistance if needed.
Demon Warranty at a Glance
Demon’s 24-month commercial warranty covers defects attributable to materials, components or workmanship when the product has been used correctly and in accordance with its intended purpose. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, scratches, wear and tear, impact damage, improper use, incorrect maintenance, unauthorised modifications or damage caused by chemicals, heat or improper storage.
Duration
Demon’s commercial warranty is valid for 24 months from the purchase date shown on the sales receipt or other proof of purchase.
Assessment
Every request is reviewed by our customer support team using photographs, a description of the issue and, when necessary, a physical inspection of the product.
Solution
If the defect is confirmed, Demon may provide a repair, replace the affected component, replace the product or offer another appropriate solution.
Important: Demon’s commercial warranty does not cover every type of breakage. It is intended to protect customers against manufacturing defects, not damage caused by drops, impacts, crushing, improper use or normal wear and tear.
What Is Covered by the Demon Warranty
The warranty may apply when the issue is consistent with an original product defect, meaning an anomaly in the material, assembly or workmanship that becomes apparent during normal use of the eyewear.
- Manufacturing defects in the frame: unusual breakage, deformation or structural failure that is not consistent with impacts, crushing, forced twisting or improper use.
- Temple or hinge defects: failures attributable to a manufacturing issue rather than pulling, forced opening, dropping, side impacts or crushing.
- Assembly defects: incorrectly assembled components, misaligned parts or technical abnormalities that become apparent during normal use.
- Defects in nose pads, temple tips or rubber inserts: detachment or abnormalities attributable to a component defect, provided they were not caused by rubbing, unremoved perspiration, creams, solvents, heat or normal wear.
- Visible lens defects upon delivery: imperfections, bubbles, coating defects or visual abnormalities already present on the new product and reported promptly.
- Surface coating defects not caused by improper use: potential coating or finishing issues that have been technically assessed and cannot be attributed to scratches, chemicals, incorrect cleaning or abrasion.
- Accessories included with the product: manufacturing defects affecting accessories supplied with the eyewear, where applicable and where the issue can be documented when the request is made.
How is a defect assessed?
The assessment is not based solely on the point where the eyewear has broken, but also on the signs visible on the product. Deep scratches, abrasions, deformation, stress cracks caused by twisting, signs of crushing, scratched lenses or bent parts may indicate accidental damage rather than a manufacturing defect.
What Is Not Covered by the Demon Warranty
The warranty does not cover damage caused by use, accidental events, incorrect maintenance or alterations to the product. Below are some of the most common examples.
Damage not covered
- Scratches on lenses: scratches are generally considered damage caused by use, contact, rubbing, dropping, incorrect cleaning or storage without adequate protection.
- Damage caused by impacts or drops: broken lenses, cracked frames, broken temples or damaged bridges following drops, impacts, sports accidents or crushing.
- Crushing: damage caused by sitting on the eyewear, carrying it in a pocket, placing it in a backpack without its case, leaving it underneath other objects or trapping it inside a helmet or bag.
- Twisting or forced opening: deformation or breakage resulting from excessive opening of the temples, sideways pulling, bending or improper use.
- Normal wear and tear: natural wear of temple tips, rubber parts, nose pads, finishes, surface treatments and components that come into contact with the skin, perspiration, dust and external elements.
- Heat damage: deformation caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures, such as leaving the eyewear on a car dashboard, near heat sources, dryers, radiators, in saunas or other very hot environments.
- Chemical damage: alterations caused by alcohol, solvents, aggressive detergents, creams, sprays, perfumes, insect repellent, salt water that has not been rinsed off or other unsuitable substances.
- Improper use or incorrect maintenance: dry cleaning with abrasive materials, dirty cloths, paper, clothing, unsuitable detergents or failure to rinse the product after exposure to perspiration, sand or salt water.
- Loss, theft or damage caused by third parties: the warranty does not cover products that are lost, stolen or damaged by animals, children, couriers or other people.
- Unauthorised modifications: work carried out on frames, lenses, temples, hinges, optical clips or components by unauthorised parties or using non-original replacement parts.
Practical examples
- If a lens becomes scratched after use, the issue would normally not be covered by the warranty.
- If a temple breaks following a drop, impact or crushing, the damage is considered accidental.
- If the frame becomes deformed after being left inside a car in the sun, the issue is considered heat-related.
- If the lens coating becomes damaged after cleaning with alcohol or aggressive detergents, the damage is not covered.
- If a component fails without any signs of impact, twisting or improper use, the case may be assessed as a possible defect.
- If an issue is already present when the product is received, it is important to report it immediately with clear photographs before using the product.

| Photograph of the complete eyewear | This allows us to assess the overall condition of the product and identify any signs of use. |
| Close-up photograph of the defect | This helps distinguish a possible manufacturing defect from an impact, twisting, scratch or crushing damage. |
| Description of what happened | This helps us understand when and how the issue occurred. |
| Available packaging and accessories | These may be required if the product is returned, replaced or needs to undergo a complete inspection. |
How the Technical Assessment Works
Every warranty request is assessed individually. The purpose of the assessment is to determine whether the issue is consistent with a manufacturing defect or whether it is attributable to use, wear and tear, impact, dropping, incorrect maintenance or another external cause.
When the warranty may be accepted
- The product is within 24 months of the purchase date.
- Valid proof of purchase is available.
- The defect is consistent with a material, workmanship or assembly issue.
- There are no clear signs of impact, crushing, twisting or improper use.
- The product has not been modified or repaired by third parties.
When the warranty may be rejected
- Proof of purchase or sufficient information to verify the purchase date is unavailable.
- The damage is consistent with a drop, impact, crushing or accident.
- The lenses are scratched, abraded or damaged as a result of incorrect cleaning.
- The frame shows deformation caused by heat or improper storage.
- The product has been altered, repaired or modified using non-original components.
Outcome of the assessment: if the defect is confirmed, Demon will propose the most appropriate solution based on the model, availability of replacement parts and the nature of the issue. If the product is no longer available, an equivalent solution may be offered.
Eyewear with Optical Clips, Prescription Lenses and Third-Party Work
Some Demon models can be used with optical clips or dedicated prescription solutions. In these cases, the warranty assessment must distinguish between a defect in the Demon product itself and issues related to the manufacture of prescription lenses, the optical prescription or fitting work carried out by third parties.
- If prescription lenses have been made by the customer’s own optician, any issues relating to centration, prescription power, visual adaptation or lens fitting must be assessed by the optician who carried out the work.
- Modifications, adaptations, drilling, gluing, filing or unauthorised work on the frame or optical clip may invalidate Demon’s commercial warranty coverage.
- Damage caused by incorrect fitting of prescription lenses, incompatible lenses or non-original components is not covered by the Demon warranty.
- If the issue concerns an original Demon component and has not been caused by external work, the case may be assessed in accordance with the standard warranty conditions.
