DEMON presents FIANDRE, the new prescription sports eyewear built for athletes who train and race outdoors and don’t want compromises: full protection, consistent comfort, and clear vision even when light conditions change constantly.

FIANDRE shares the same technical platform as the ROUBAIX model, reinterpreted in a modern, bold design ideal for intense, frequent cycling and running. Performance-ready, yet versatile enough for trekking, hiking, and many other outdoor activities.

DCHROM® Lens: one lens for every light condition

The real highlight of FIANDRE is the DCHROM® mirrored photochromic lens, engineered to automatically adapt to changing light and weather in every season.

• In shade, at dawn, or at sunset: the lens starts from a lightly tinted base, helping you keep a clear view without overly darkening the scenery.
• As sunlight increases: it progressively darkens up to Category 3, ideal for strong light.
• At peak intensity: the mirror finish activates (with red / purple / blue reflections, depending on the chosen version). Beyond the racing look, it helps manage glare and improves overall comfort.

The result: more stable visual perception, less eye fatigue, and better focus especially when alternating between full sun, tunnels, wooded sections, and sharp shadow transitions.

Built for real sport performance

FIANDRE protects your eyes like a true sports visor without giving up optical correction. The wide, wraparound frame:

• reduces airflow and particles reaching the eyes
• shields from insects and debris
• improves visual continuity (less lateral interference)
• stays stable even during intense effort

Despite its protective shape, it remains surprisingly light: only 30 g, for less pressure on the nose and temples and better comfort on long sessions.

Mountain Bike: wraparound coverage is key off-road. FIANDRE helps protect against branches, leaves, dust, insects, and small debris from all directions. DCHROM® reacts in real time to trail lighting shifts (forest shade → open sections → sunlit switchbacks).
Road Cycling: continuous protection from wind, particulate dust, insects, and bright light. The automatic photochromic transition reduces glare and visual fatigue on long rides.
All-round use: ideal if you want one pair of prescription sports glasses for training, travel, mixed routes, and varied conditions.

Running & Trail Running

Trail: rapid, constant changes (deep shade, exposed sections, reflections on rocks or pale terrain). DCHROM® adapts naturally no spare lenses needed. Grip contact points help stability on descents and quick direction changes.
Road: clean, protected vision with less tearing from wind and less annoyance from dust; suitable for bright summer light and variable conditions (cloudy, sunrise, late afternoon).

Prescription solution: internal optical insert (RX clip)

FIANDRE is designed for athletes who need vision correction. The internal prescription insert is made of TR90 (the same material as the frame) to ensure strength, lightness, and precision in motion.

Materials & technical features

DCHROM® mirrored photochromic lenses

DCHROM® lenses react to UV rays with a reversible transformation: they darken in sunlight and gradually return to a lighter state as light decreases. Made from high-quality polycarbonate, they:

• reduce overall weight
• increase safety in case of impact
• provide UV protection and visual comfort

This new-generation DCHROM® combines a lightly tinted base, fast light-to-dark transition, and full darkening up to Category 3, with a mirror finish that is both aesthetic and functional.

Ultra-light TR90 frame

TR90 (a technical blend of carbon fiber and nylon) makes the frame:

• flexible and durable
• comfortable for long wear
• stable during high-intensity efforts

It adapts to head shape without excessive pressure while maintaining a secure fit.

Grip & stability

Nose pads and temple tips in hypoallergenic Megol with grip technology for maximum hold helping prevent slipping caused by sweat, vibration, or quick movements.
