FUSION combines the wraparound geometry of sports eyewear with a removable internal prescription insert, making it a practical solution for athletes who require vision correction during outdoor activities. Its Category 3 DPOL® polarized polycarbonate lens is designed for bright conditions and helps reduce reflected glare from surfaces such as roads and water. A lightweight TR90 frame, adjustable nose pad and grip elements support stability during movement, while the included Base 6 optical clip can be fitted with prescription lenses by an optician.

Prescription Sports Glasses Designed for Active Use
Practising sport with vision correction requires more than simply placing prescription lenses in a conventional frame. The eyewear must remain stable during movement, provide useful coverage from wind and airborne debris, and retain the optical characteristics required for the activity.
FUSION approaches this requirement with two separate elements: the outer sports lens provides the polarized sun protection, while the internal optical clip is dedicated to prescription correction. This allows the external lens to retain its strongly curved Base 8 sports geometry while the prescription insert uses a Base 6 geometry.
The result is a versatile pair of polarized prescription sports glasses developed for activities including cycling, running, trail running, hiking, sport fishing, golf and water sports.
Why use an internal optical clip?
The prescription insert sits behind the external sports lens and can be fitted with corrective lenses by an optician. Its Base 6 geometry is less curved than the external Base 8 lens, providing a dedicated support for prescription glazing without replacing the wraparound sports lens in front.
The actual feasibility of a prescription should always be assessed by an optician according to the prescription, lens design, centration and selected corrective lens material.
Lens Technology
DPOL® Category 3 Polarized Lens
FUSION uses a Category 3 DPOL® polarized lens developed for bright outdoor conditions. Polarization helps reduce the disturbing glare generated when light reflects from horizontal or highly reflective surfaces, including wet roads and water.
By limiting this reflected glare, the lens can make the surrounding environment easier and more comfortable to read during prolonged outdoor activity. This is particularly useful in sports where reflected light can remain within the field of vision for extended periods, such as road cycling, hiking, fishing and water-based activities.

Polycarbonate Lens with UV400 Protection
The external polarized lens is made from polycarbonate, a material widely suited to dynamic sports eyewear because it combines low weight with good resistance to impact and fragmentation.
During cycling, running, hiking and other active outdoor sports, eyewear may be exposed to accidental knocks, falls or airborne particles. Polycarbonate provides a more impact-resistant solution than more brittle lens materials while helping keep the overall eyewear lightweight.
FUSION also provides UV400 protection, designed to filter ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm and therefore cover UVA and UVB wavelengths.

The feasibility of an individual prescription must always be confirmed by an optician, taking into account the prescription itself, optical centration and the characteristics of the corrective lenses selected.
TR90 Sports Frame with Adjustable Nose Pad
The FUSION frame is made from TR90, a lightweight and flexible material suited to the mechanical stresses associated with active use. Its flexibility contributes to comfort while providing the resilience required in a sports frame.
Stability is supported by Megol grip elements around the nose and inner temple areas. These contact points are designed to improve hold when the wearer is moving, helping the frame remain more stable during dynamic activities.
The adjustable nose pad incorporates an internal aluminium core, allowing the contact around the nose to be fine-tuned to improve fit and positioning.
Sports-oriented construction
With the optical clip installed, FUSION has a stated weight of 35 grams. Its external Base 8 lens provides the strongly curved geometry commonly associated with wraparound sports eyewear, while the unisex fit is designed for both men and women.
