LIEGI Photochromic Running Sunglasses
Photochromic running sunglasses designed for road running, trail running and triathlon, with DCHROM® Category 1–3 mirrored lenses and an adjustable performance fit.
LIEGI combines a lightweight TR90 Ultralight frame with DCHROM® mirrored photochromic lenses that adapt from Category 1 to Category 3 as light conditions change. Developed for runners and triathletes who move through exposed sections, shade and variable outdoor conditions, the model combines wide sports-oriented coverage with a 28-gram construction, adjustable nose pad and adjustable temples. Its Base 8 lens geometry creates the strongly curved profile typical of wraparound sports eyewear, while UV400 protection provides reliable shielding from UVA and UVB radiation.

Running environments rarely provide perfectly constant light. A road route can move from open sunlight into tree-lined sections, while a trail can alternate rapidly between exposed terrain and shade. LIEGI is designed around these changes, using a photochromic lens that automatically adjusts its tint according to UV exposure.
The combination of a wraparound Base 8 lens, low overall weight and adjustable contact points makes LIEGI particularly suited to dynamic disciplines where secure positioning and broad coverage matter. The adjustable nose pad allows the position around the nose to be refined, while the adjustable temples provide an additional point of fit customisation.
Photochromic adaptation from Category 1 to Category 3
LIEGI uses DCHROM® Category 1–3 mirrored photochromic lenses. Photochromic technology responds to UV exposure by changing the tint of the lens: it becomes darker when exposed to stronger light and returns towards a lighter state as UV exposure decreases. This allows one pair of running sunglasses to cover a broader range of outdoor light conditions without requiring a manual lens change.
For runners and trail runners, this is particularly useful on routes where light conditions vary during the same session. The lens can adapt as the environment changes between brighter open areas and lower-light sections, supporting more consistent visual comfort.

Road Running
