FUSION – Photochromic Sports Glasses with Optical Clip
FUSION is a pair of photochromic prescription sports glasses for cycling and running, combining DCHROM® Category 1–3 lenses with an internal Base 6 optical clip for prescription lenses. Designed for dynamic outdoor use, the model brings together adaptive photochromic vision, a lightweight TR90 frame and a wraparound Base 8 lens geometry. The result is a versatile sports eyewear solution for users who need visual correction while training outdoors and want one lens that can respond to changing levels of sunlight during the activity.

Prescription Sports Eyewear Built for Movement
FUSION is designed for athletes who want the coverage and stability of sports eyewear without giving up the possibility of using their prescription. The internal optical clip sits behind the main photochromic lenses and can be fitted with prescription lenses within the supported optical range.
Its curved Base 8 outer lens geometry creates the characteristic wraparound profile of sports eyewear, while the adjustable nose pad allows the contact point on the nose to be fine-tuned for a more personalised fit.
The frame is made from TR90 Ultralight, a material widely used in sports eyewear for its combination of low weight, flexibility and resistance to the mechanical stresses associated with active use. With the optical insert installed, the complete eyewear weighs 35 grams.

DCHROM® Category 1–3 Photochromic Lenses
FUSION uses DCHROM® photochromic lenses with a Category 1–3 range. Photochromic technology reacts to ultraviolet exposure: the lenses become darker as UV exposure increases and gradually return towards their lighter state when UV exposure decreases.
This automatic adaptation is particularly useful in outdoor sports where the light can change during the same session. A cyclist may move between exposed roads and shaded sections, while a runner can encounter different levels of sunlight as the route or weather changes. Instead of using a fixed lens tint, DCHROM® adjusts its level of darkening within its specified Category 1–3 range.

UV400 Protection for Outdoor Sport
The FUSION lenses provide UV400 protection. UV400 filtration is designed to block ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm, therefore covering UVA and UVB wavelengths. This is an important characteristic for sports eyewear intended for prolonged outdoor use, where the eyes can be exposed to sunlight for extended periods.
Base 6 Optical Clip Included
The supplied optical clip allows FUSION to be used as prescription sports eyewear. Prescription lenses are fitted to the internal insert rather than replacing the curved outer photochromic lenses.
The insert has a Base 6 curvature, which is less curved than the Base 8 outer sports lens. Its verified lens dimensions are 27 mm in height and 45 mm in length.

TR90 Ultralight Frame and Adjustable Fit
The FUSION frame is made from TR90 Ultralight. Its low weight and flexible character make it particularly suitable for sports eyewear that is repeatedly exposed to movement and everyday handling.
The adjustable nose pad provides an additional fit adjustment point, helping the wearer position the glasses more precisely on the face. This is especially useful during cycling and running, where a stable and comfortable fit contributes to a more natural wearing experience.
