FIANDRE keeps the same technical DNA as the ROUBAIX model, reworked into a modern, bold design built for riders and runners who train regularly. It’s performance eyewear in every sense yet versatile enough for trekking, hiking, and any outdoor sport where eye protection and visual quality matter.

DCHROM® Category 0–3: one lens, from clear to smoke

The key feature of FIANDRE is the DCHROM® photochromic lens with a Category 0–3 range, designed to cover an exceptionally wide set of conditions starting fully clear (Cat. 0) and progressively darkening to a smoke tint (Cat. 3) as UV exposure increases.

How it performs in real life

• Dawn, dusk, shade, overcast days: the lens stays clear or only lightly tinted, so you don’t lose detail or contrast. Perfect when you want maximum brightness without the “sunglasses effect.”
• Mixed routes and fast light changes: it self-adjusts automatically, reducing eye strain when you move between bright sun and shade (trees, forest sections, changing exposure).
• Full sun and intense light: it reaches Category 3 (smoke) to help manage glare and reflections more comfortably.

This clear-to-smoke evolution is a major advantage for anyone training at different times of day or on varied terrain: no lens swaps, no second lens to carry. The result is steadier, more relaxed vision, better focus, and less fatigue at the end of your session.

FIANDRE adapts naturally with DCHROM®: clear when you need more light, smoke Cat. 3 when the sun gets strong. The wrap shape protects from branches, dirt, and insects, while grip points keep it stable on descents and direction changes. At 30 g, it stays comfortable even over long distances.

Road running: cleaner, more protected vision less tearing from wind, less irritation from dust, better focus. The 0–3 photochromic range makes it suitable for bright summer days and variable conditions (cloudy skies, sunrise, late afternoon), even during long training sessions.

FIANDRE is designed for athletes who need vision correction. The internal prescription insert is made from TR90 (the same material as the frame) for strength, lightness, and precision even during movement.

Materials & technical features

DCHROM® photochromic polycarbonate lenses

DCHROM® lenses react to UV rays with a reversible transformation: they darken in sunlight and gradually return to a lighter state when light decreases. High-quality polycarbonate:

• provides UV protection and visual comfort

The 0–3 version is built for maximum versatility from minimal light to strong sun, with one single lens.

Ultra-light TR90 frame

TR90 (a technical blend of carbon fiber and nylon) makes the frame:

It adapts to the head shape without squeezing while maintaining a secure fit.

Grip & stability

Hypoallergenic Megol nose pads and temple tips with grip technology for maximum hold helping prevent slipping from sweat, vibration, or quick movements.
