SUPERPIUMA is a lightweight pair of cycling sunglasses with a single mirrored lens, developed for road cycling, mountain biking and gravel riding. Its wide shield-style design provides generous coverage against wind, dust, insects and other elements encountered while riding, while the 20-gram TR90 frame keeps the construction light and comfortable. Cycling eyewear has to manage more than sunlight alone. At speed, the eyes are continuously exposed to airflow, dust, insects and small airborne debris. SUPERPIUMA uses a broad single-lens design to create extensive frontal and peripheral coverage while maintaining a total weight of just 20 grams.
The wraparound Base 8 lens geometry follows the face more closely than flatter everyday eyewear. This sporty curvature contributes to the enveloping shape of the glasses and makes SUPERPIUMA particularly well suited to dynamic riding positions.
The result is cycling eyewear designed around the practical demands of road cycling, MTB and gravel: light on the face, broad in coverage and stable during continuous movement.

Three Mirrored Lens Options for Different Riding Conditions
SUPERPIUMA is available with DMIRROR multi-layer mirrored lenses. The mirrored finish helps manage intense visible light reaching the lens while giving the eyewear its distinctive technical appearance. The three available configurations differ in base colour, light transmission and intended riding environment.
Because each lens has a different visual profile, cyclists can choose the configuration that best matches their discipline and the lighting conditions they encounter most frequently.

20-Gram TR90 Frame with Adjustable Nose Pad
The SUPERPIUMA frame is made from TR90, a material widely used in sports eyewear where low weight, flexibility and resistance to everyday mechanical stress are important.
At only 20 grams, the frame is designed to reduce unnecessary weight during longer rides. The wide lens remains the dominant protective element, while the streamlined frame keeps the eyewear visually and physically light.
An adjustable nose pad allows the contact point at the nose to be fine-tuned, supporting a more secure and personalised fit during riding.
UV400 Protection for Outdoor Riding
SUPERPIUMA lenses provide UV400 protection, designed to filter ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm and therefore cover UVA and UVB wavelengths.
UV protection is independent from the cosmetic colour of the mirrored coating. The mirror treatment manages visible light characteristics and appearance, while the stated UV400 specification provides protection from ultraviolet radiation.
Polycarbonate Lens for Dynamic Sports Use
The lens is made from polycarbonate, a material particularly suitable for sports eyewear because it combines low weight with good impact resistance and a lower tendency to fragment than more brittle lens materials.
These characteristics make polycarbonate appropriate for cycling, where eyewear may be exposed to accidental impacts, flying debris and continuous vibration during use.
Base 8 Wraparound Lens
SUPERPIUMA uses a Base 8 lens curvature, a strongly curved geometry commonly associated with highly wraparound sports eyewear. The curvature follows the face more closely than a flatter lens, contributing to the model's enveloping shield-style profile and broad peripheral coverage.
This geometry is especially appropriate for cycling because the rider frequently adopts a forward-facing position in which frontal and lateral exposure to airflow can be significant.
