Road Cycling: A Category 3 smoke lens is generally preferred as it suits the steady light conditions typical of road cycling.
Running and Trail Running: Depending on the time of day, a photochromic lens with a transparent base color is ideal for use at night or as protection from the air.
Beach Volleyball: Due to strong UV intensity, a Category 3 mirrored lens is recommended, similar to road cycling.
