GRAVEL combines the wide coverage of mask-style sports eyewear with a Category 3 polarized lens and an included Base 6 optical clip for prescription correction. Designed for active outdoor use, the model brings together a lightweight TR90 frame, adjustable nose pad, UV400 protection and a wraparound Base 8 lens geometry. It is a versatile prescription sports eyewear solution for activities including cycling, mountain biking, running, trail running, hiking, mountaineering, golf and water sports, while the polarized lens is particularly useful where reflected glare is a frequent issue.

Prescription Correction Without Giving Up a Sport-Specific Wraparound Design
Mask-style coverage
GRAVEL uses a wide, strongly curved Base 8 outer lens, creating the wraparound geometry typical of technical sports eyewear. This design provides broad frontal and peripheral coverage while maintaining a streamlined profile for dynamic outdoor activities.
Dedicated prescription insert
Instead of replacing the curved outer sports lens with a prescription lens, GRAVEL uses an internal optical clip. Prescription lenses can be fitted to this insert by an optician, allowing the user to retain the original polarized sports lens and frame geometry.
DPOL® Category 3 Polarized Lens
The GRAVEL polarized lens is designed to reduce reflected glare, particularly from horizontal or highly reflective surfaces. This can make bright conditions more comfortable when riding on sunlit roads, spending time around water or moving through exposed outdoor environments.
Polarization and UV protection perform different functions. The polarizing filter manages reflected glare, while GRAVEL's separately specified UV400 protection is responsible for filtering ultraviolet radiation.

Base 6 Optical Clip for Prescription Lenses
The included optical insert allows an optician to fit prescription lenses inside the GRAVEL sports frame. Its Base 6 geometry is less curved than the outer Base 8 shield, providing a dedicated surface for optical correction while preserving the external design of the eyewear.
The clip can also be used with bifocal and progressive lenses, subject to evaluation by the optician according to the individual prescription and lens design.

UV400 Polycarbonate Sports Lens
GRAVEL provides UV400 protection, designed to filter ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm and therefore cover UVA and UVB wavelengths.
The outer lens is made from polycarbonate, a material widely suited to sports eyewear because of its low weight and resistance to impact and fragmentation compared with more brittle lens materials. These characteristics make it appropriate for eyewear intended for movement-intensive outdoor activities.

TR90 construction
