The frame is listed with a women's fit and measures 135 mm in overall width, with a frame height of 35 mm and 135 mm temples. These proportions create a relatively compact sports frame for users looking for prescription eyewear that is less bulky than many conventional performance frames.
Base 4: A Practical Geometry for Sports Prescription Lenses
OPTO 4 uses a Base 4 lens geometry. Compared with the strongly curved lenses frequently used in highly wraparound sports sunglasses, Base 4 has a more moderate curvature and is particularly relevant in a frame developed specifically to receive prescription lenses.
