TIGER Photochromic Running Glasses
TIGER is a lightweight pair of photochromic running glasses designed for road running and trail running in changing light conditions. Its Category 0–2 photochromic lenses adapt their tint according to UV exposure, moving from transparent toward a darker smoke tone as ambient light increases. A wraparound Base 8 geometry, adjustable nose pad, ventilated construction and ultralight TR90 frame work together to provide coverage, stability and comfort during active use.

Road Running
TIGER is designed for runners who move through variable light conditions during training. The photochromic lens changes tint in response to UV exposure, reducing the need to switch eyewear as light levels change along the route.
The lightweight 26 g frame helps reduce the sensation of bulk during longer sessions, while the adjustable nose pad allows the fit around the nose to be fine-tuned for greater stability during movement.
Trail Running
For trail use, the wraparound Base 8 design provides broad coverage around the eye area while the polycarbonate lens offers a lightweight and impact-resistant optical solution suited to dynamic outdoor sport.
The frame also incorporates ventilation and a sweat-management sponge, helping limit interference from perspiration and supporting visual comfort during demanding activity.
Photochromic Category 0–2 lens
The TIGER uses a photochromic lens with a Category 0–2 range. In lower-light conditions the lens remains substantially transparent, while exposure to UV radiation causes it to progressively darken toward a smoke tint.
This adaptive behaviour makes the glasses particularly useful for running routes where light can change repeatedly, for example when moving between exposed sections and shaded areas or when training in the late afternoon and toward evening.
- Adaptive tint: the lens darkens and lightens according to UV exposure.
- Category 0–2 range: suitable for lower-light through moderate-brightness conditions within the stated lens range.
- Transparent-to-smoke appearance: the lens changes visually as light conditions vary.
- Polycarbonate construction: combines low weight with useful impact resistance for active sports use.
UV400 protection for outdoor training
TIGER lenses provide UV400 protection, designed to filter ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm and therefore cover UVA and UVB wavelengths. This protection is independent of how dark the lens appears, so the eyes remain protected from UV radiation across the photochromic tint range.
Ultralight TR90 frame with adjustable fit
TR90 construction
The frame is made from ultralight TR90, a material widely used in sports eyewear because it combines low weight, flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress. TIGER has a verified weight of just 26 grams.
Adjustable nose pad
The adjustable nose pad allows the contact area around the nose to be adapted to the user, helping improve positioning and stability while running.
Ventilated sports design
Ventilation is integrated into the design to support airflow around the lens area and help reduce the conditions that can contribute to fogging during high-effort activity.
Sweat-management sponge
The integrated sponge helps intercept perspiration before it reaches the eyes, a practical feature during intense running sessions and demanding trail sections.
Base 8 lens for broad sports coverage
TIGER uses a Base 8 lens geometry, a strongly curved configuration commonly associated with highly wraparound sports eyewear. The shape follows the face more closely than flatter everyday eyewear and contributes to broad lateral coverage during movement.
