The wide shield-style construction also provides extensive frontal and lateral coverage, helping create a barrier against wind, spray, dust and small airborne debris when fishing from the bank, rocks, a boat or a kayak.

The insert also supports bifocal and progressive lens configurations. The actual feasibility of an individual prescription can depend on lens design, centration, pupil distance and the technical evaluation carried out by the optician.
