Prescription eyewear built around sport
LIEGI is designed for athletes who need vision correction without giving up the coverage and geometry of technical sports eyewear. Instead of wearing conventional glasses underneath, the supplied optical clip sits inside the sports frame and can be fitted with prescription lenses according to the supported optical parameters.
The external shield uses a strongly curved Base 8 lens geometry, creating the wraparound shape typically associated with performance eyewear. This helps provide broader coverage around the eye area during activities where wind, dust, insects and changing environmental conditions can become distracting.
The model is suitable for road cycling, mountain biking, running, trail running, mountain activities and hiking. Its main advantage is versatility: the same eyewear combines sports coverage, a photochromic lens and an internal prescription solution for users who require visual correction.
DCHROM® mirrored photochromic lens, Category 1–3
The main lens of LIEGI uses DCHROM® photochromic technology with a verified Category 1–3 range. The lens responds to changing UV exposure by varying its level of darkness, remaining lighter in lower-light situations and becoming darker as exposure increases.
This makes the lens particularly useful in sports where light conditions can change repeatedly during the same session. On a road ride, mountain-bike trail, run or hike, the environment may alternate between open sunlight, shaded sections, woodland and changing weather. A photochromic lens reduces the need to manually swap between different lenses as those conditions change.
At its darker end, the lens reaches Category 3, while its lighter state starts at Category 1. The mirrored external finish gives LIEGI its distinctive technical appearance and works together with the photochromic lens without changing the fundamental function of the DCHROM® technology.
Lightweight construction with adjustable contact points
TR90 Ultralight frame
The frame is made from TR90 Ultralight, a lightweight and flexible material well suited to active use. LIEGI weighs just 28 grams, helping keep the eyewear comfortable during longer rides, runs and outdoor sessions.
Adjustable nose pad
The nose pad can be adjusted to refine the way the frame sits on the face. This allows the position of the eyewear to be customised according to individual facial features and personal fit preferences.

Prescription Solution
Optical clip included
LIEGI is supplied with a dedicated prescription optical clip. Prescription lenses can be fitted into this internal insert, allowing users who require vision correction to retain the external DCHROM® sports shield and its wraparound coverage.
The clip has a Base 6 geometry and measures 45 mm in lens width and 40 mm in lens height. The stated prescription compatibility supports sphere values from -5.00 to +4.00 and cylinder values up to ±1.00.
The optical insert is also declared compatible with bifocal and progressive lenses. Final lens configuration should always be evaluated according to the individual prescription and the optical requirements of the wearer.
