LIEGI is a pair of prescription sports glasses for cycling, running and dynamic outdoor activities, combining a wide mirrored shield lens with a removable internal optical insert. The lightweight TR90 frame, adjustable nose pad and adjustable temples are designed to provide a stable, customisable fit during movement, while the Category 3 DMIRROR lens is intended for bright outdoor conditions. The prescription insert sits behind the main sports lens, allowing corrective lenses to be fitted without replacing the protective wraparound shield that defines the LIEGI design.

Sport eyewear and vision correction in one system
LIEGI is designed for athletes who require vision correction but still want the coverage and geometry of genuine wraparound sports eyewear. Instead of turning the external shield into a prescription lens, the model uses a dedicated internal optical insert positioned behind the main DMIRROR lens.
This configuration separates the two functions: the external shield remains dedicated to sunlight protection and sports coverage, while the internal insert accommodates the corrective lenses prepared according to the wearer's prescription.
The result is a practical prescription solution for activities where movement, wind and prolonged outdoor exposure make conventional everyday glasses less suitable.
Wraparound shield design
The Base 8 external lens creates the strongly curved profile typical of performance sports eyewear. Its broad shield format provides an open field of view and physical coverage around the eye area, helping protect against wind, dust, insects and small airborne debris during movement.
The internal prescription insert uses a Base 6 geometry, allowing corrective lenses to be fitted independently from the more strongly curved external shield.
DMIRROR Category 3 multilayer mirrored lens
LIEGI uses a DMIRROR multilayer mirrored shield lens with a smoke Category 3 base. Category 3 lenses are designed for bright sunlight and are particularly suitable for outdoor sports performed in high ambient light.
The mirrored external treatment helps manage intense incident light while giving LIEGI its distinctive technical appearance. Unlike a polarized filter, a mirrored treatment should not be confused with polarization: its role is linked to light management and the external reflective finish of the lens.
For cycling, running and other fast-moving activities, the large single-lens format also limits visual interruptions across the central field of view and provides broad coverage when looking ahead, to the sides or down towards the terrain and sports equipment.
Removable Base 6 optical insert
The included prescription insert is designed to hold corrective lenses prepared by an optician. It fits inside the sports frame, behind the external shield, and can be removed when prescription correction is not required.
Its 40 × 45 mm lens dimensions and Base 6 geometry provide the optician with a dedicated internal support for the prescription while allowing the outer Base 8 sports lens to retain its original shape and function.

The optical insert can also accommodate bifocal and progressive lenses, giving users who need more than a standard single-vision correction additional options when the prescription and lens design allow it.
Important: the sphere and cylinder values above are indicative parameters for DEMON models using an optical clip. The actual feasibility of an individual prescription must always be assessed by an optician according to the complete prescription, lens design, centration, pupillary distance and the characteristics of the corrective lenses selected.

TR90 Ultralight frame weighing 28 grams
The LIEGI frame is made from TR90 Ultralight, a technical material widely suited to active eyewear because of its combination of low weight, flexibility and resistance to the mechanical stresses associated with everyday sports use.
At 28 grams, LIEGI keeps the complete structure lightweight even though it is designed to accommodate an additional internal prescription insert. Reduced weight is particularly valuable during longer sessions because it limits unnecessary load on the nose and temples.
The frame and lens geometry are designed as a complete sports system: the outer Base 8 shield provides wraparound coverage, while the smaller Base 6 insert manages the optical correction independently behind it.
