PLANET combines the coverage expected from technical outdoor sunglasses with the flexibility of removable side protections. The result is a model that can be configured according to the environment: keep the side shields fitted when additional lateral coverage is useful, or remove them when a more open configuration is preferred.
The strongly curved Base 8 lens geometry follows the sporty, wraparound character of the frame and provides broad frontal coverage. This shape is particularly suited to active outdoor eyewear, where a secure fit and protection from direct and peripheral light are important during movement.

Category 3 Mirrored Lenses for Bright Outdoor Light
PLANET uses Category 3 smoke mirrored lenses, a configuration designed for bright sunlight. Category 3 filtration is well suited to outdoor environments where solar intensity is high, including exposed trails and open mountain terrain.
The mirrored outer surface contributes to the lens's technical appearance while helping manage part of the light reaching the lens surface. Mirroring should not be confused with polarization: PLANET's defining technology on this version is its Category 3 mirrored lens, and no polarization claim is required to explain its performance.
Smoke Tint
The smoke base keeps colour perception natural while providing comfortable filtration in strong daylight.
Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate combines low weight with good impact resistance and resistance to fragmentation compared with more brittle lens materials, making it suitable for active outdoor eyewear.
Anti-Scratch Surface
