The PLANET model ensures complete UV protection and consistently clear vision thanks to premium-quality polycarbonate lenses that are anti-scratch, decentralized, and optically flawless. These lenses are paired with an ultra-light and flexible TR90 frame, a high-performance blend of nylon and carbon fiber that is approximately 20% lighter than conventional materials. This advanced construction offers exceptional resistance to impacts and mechanical stress while maintaining long-lasting comfort during extended use.

Equipped with photochromic lenses ranging from category 2 to category 4, the PLANET model is specifically developed for mountaineering and ski mountaineering. The lenses automatically adapt to changing UV-A and UV-B radiation, darkening as light intensity increases. Unlike standard photochromic lenses, which typically start from category 1, these lenses begin at category 2 and can reach category 4 under extreme solar exposure. This ensures superior visual performance in environments where light conditions shift rapidly between shaded areas and intense sunlight.

The adaptive nature of category 2–4 photochromic lenses offers a significant advantage over fixed category 4 lenses. While static category 4 lenses provide maximum protection in bright conditions, they can reduce visibility in shadowed sections such as rock faces, forested paths, or narrow passages. 

The PLANET lenses respond dynamically to UV intensity, delivering optimal contrast and visibility at all times, which is essential for safety and precision in mountainous terrain.

Comfort and stability are further enhanced by adjustable neoprene bands that ensure a secure fit and prevent movement during steep ascents or technical passages. The soft, hypoallergenic rubber nose pads are fully adjustable and anti-slip, adapting naturally to different face shapes while maintaining excellent grip even during intense activity.

The removable side protections allow the glasses to be easily customized according to the activity, offering full coverage for high-altitude environments or a lighter configuration for trekking and everyday outdoor use.
