GRAVEL is the new eyewear from DEMON. These multilayer mirrored hiking glasses are designed for all outdoor activities where maximum eye protection is required. The unique feature of these special lenses is their high contrast of natural colors, providing benefits similar to polarized lenses without the visual difficulty of reading LED screens.

 

 

Types of Sports:

 

Hiking:
GRAVEL is an excellent choice for hiking, suitable for both amateurs and guides. The wide frame provides maximum protection from leaves, branches, dirt, insects, and other potential eye hazards in forested areas. Despite their size, the glasses weigh only 30 grams. The DMIRROR mirrored category 3 lens offers protection from strong light, even with prolonged use. The unbreakable lens ensures safety by withstanding significant impacts.

 

Ski Mountaineering:
GRAVEL is ideal for ski mountaineering. The wide shape protects the athlete's eyes from air, dust, snow, and other hazards. The lens provides optimal protection even in the very bright conditions typical of glaciers. The frame is ultra-light, elastic, and features hypoallergenic rubberized parts, ensuring comfort and stability.

 

 

Technical Characteristics and Materials:

 

The DMIRROR multilayer lens of the GRAVEL model is made of solid, unbreakable polycarbonate. It not only protects the eyes from UV rays but also cushions impacts, preventing small fragments from causing eye damage. The polycarbonate lens disperses shock across its surface with a "spider web" effect, enhancing safety.

 

The ultra-light frame material is TR90, a special composition of carbon fiber and nylon. Despite its size, the GRAVEL glasses weigh only 30 grams. Designed for athletes, the frame adapts to the shape of the head for maximum comfort and stability.

 

The removable lower part of the frame (RIM) allows users to change the look of the glasses from a “closed” to an open frame. An additional white RIM is provided for aesthetic customization.

 

 

All rubberized parts, including the nose pads, are made of soft, hypoallergenic megol, featuring grip technology to prevent micro-sliding of the glasses during movement.

GRAVEL is essential for those seeking ultralight mirrored glasses for outdoor activities. This material makes the DMIRROR multilayer single lens 20% lighter than conventional materials, more resistant to impacts and stress, and increases durability over time.
