TRAIL is a technical pair of cycling sunglasses with interchangeable lenses, developed for riders who move between different light conditions on the road and on MTB trails. Its three-lens configuration allows the eyewear to be adapted to bright sunlight, overcast or shaded environments and low-light conditions. A lightweight TR90 frame, adjustable nose pad, wraparound Base 8 geometry and UV400 polycarbonate lenses combine to provide coverage, stability and visual comfort during dynamic cycling use.

One cycling frame, three different light conditions
Cycling conditions can change quickly. A ride that begins in full sun may continue through shaded woodland, cloudy sections or reduced light later in the day. TRAIL addresses this with a practical interchangeable-lens system that allows the rider to select the most suitable supplied lens before or during an outing.
The model is designed specifically for road cycling and mountain biking. Its wraparound shape provides broad coverage around the eyes, helping reduce exposure to wind, dust and airborne debris encountered while riding. On MTB trails, the generous lens area also provides useful coverage in environments where vegetation and loose particles may be present.
Interchangeable lenses for changing cycling conditions
TRAIL includes three pairs of polycarbonate lenses, each intended for a different level of ambient light. This makes the model particularly useful for cyclists who ride in variable weather, alternate between open roads and shaded sections, or train at different times of day.
Mirrored Smoke · Category 3
Designed for bright sunlight. The smoke base reduces visible light while the mirrored outer finish gives the TRAIL its distinctive technical appearance.
Orange · Category 2
Intended for intermediate light conditions. The orange tint supports contrast perception and is particularly useful on overcast days and shaded woodland routes.
Transparent · Category 1
Designed for reduced-light conditions where strong sun protection is not required, while still providing a physical barrier against wind, water droplets and airborne particles.
UV400 polycarbonate lenses
UV400 protection
The TRAIL lenses provide UV400 protection, designed to filter ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm and therefore covering UVA and UVB wavelengths.
UV protection is maintained as part of the technical lens construction and is distinct from the visible-light category of the individual lens.
Polycarbonate construction
The supplied lenses are made from polycarbonate, a material widely suited to sports eyewear because of its low weight and resistance to impact and fragmentation compared with more brittle lens materials.
These characteristics make polycarbonate particularly appropriate for dynamic activities such as cycling and mountain biking.
TR90 frame designed for active riding
TRAIL uses a TR90 Ultralight frame, combining low weight with flexibility and resistance to the repeated mechanical stresses that sports eyewear experiences during use and lens changes.
The complete eyewear weighs 31 grams with the elastic cord included, helping keep the model comfortable during longer rides without adding unnecessary bulk.
Adjustable nose pad
The adjustable nose pad allows the contact point around the nose to be fine-tuned, helping the glasses sit more securely and comfortably according to the rider's facial shape.
Wraparound Base 8 geometry
The Base 8 lens curvature creates a pronounced wraparound sports profile. This geometry contributes to broad lateral coverage and a close-fitting shape suited to cycling.
