Weighing just 20 grams, the model combines a highly wraparound Base 8 design with mirrored polycarbonate lenses and a flexible TR90 frame. Three dedicated lens configurations — ILLUMIA, OFFROAD and ROAD — allow users to select the option that best matches their preferred activity and typical light conditions, while the wide lens geometry helps provide effective coverage against wind, dust, insects and other external elements encountered on mountain trails.

Its wide, curved geometry wraps around the face and helps shield the eyes from airflow, dust, insects and other elements that may be encountered while moving through exposed trails, woodland and mountain environments.
The combination of an ultralight frame, flexible construction and secure contact points is particularly useful during longer outings, where comfort and stability become increasingly important. Rather than using one generic lens configuration, SUPERPIUMA is available with three specific mirrored lens options, each developed around different visual requirements and light levels.
Three Mirrored Lens Options for Different Outdoor Conditions
The SUPERPIUMA range includes three multi-layer mirrored lens configurations. Each has a specific base tint and light transmission value, allowing the eyewear to be selected according to the activity and the expected brightness. The mirrored treatment contributes to managing intense incoming light while giving the eyewear its distinctive technical appearance.

Polycarbonate Lenses and TR90 Frame
The DMIRROR multi-layer lenses are made from polycarbonate, a material widely suited to sports eyewear because it combines low weight with strong resistance to impact and fragmentation. Compared with more brittle lens materials, polycarbonate is designed to better tolerate accidental impacts during active outdoor use.
The SUPERPIUMA frame is made from TR90, combining flexibility and low weight in a structure designed for prolonged sports use. Its ability to flex helps the frame accommodate the shape of the head without relying on excessive clamping pressure.
