Comfort, Stability and Flexibility for Active Children
Children's eyewear needs to accommodate constant movement without feeling heavy or restrictive. For this reason, the KID 6 uses a flexible TR90 sports frame designed to combine low weight, comfort and resistance to the stresses associated with active use.
The soft and elastic construction makes the frame more suitable for the dynamic movements typical of children than a rigid conventional design. At just 24 grams, KID 6 also keeps the overall feel on the face light, an important consideration when sunglasses are worn for longer periods outdoors.
Flexible TR90 Frame
TR90 is widely used in technical sports eyewear because it combines low weight with flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress. On KID 6, these properties help create a frame that can better accommodate the movements of an active child while remaining comfortable on the face.
Rubberized Temple Grip
Rubberized contact areas on the inside of the temples increase grip where the frame rests against the head. This helps improve stability during movement and reduces unwanted shifting during outdoor activities and everyday play.
Lens Technology
Category 3 Smoke Mirrored Polycarbonate Lenses
KID 6 is fitted with Category 3 smoke mirrored lenses, designed for use in bright sunlight. The smoke base helps reduce the intensity of strong visible light, supporting comfortable vision on sunny outdoor days.
The mirrored outer finish gives the model its distinctive sporty appearance while complementing a lens configuration intended for high-light conditions.
The lenses are made from polycarbonate, a material particularly suited to sports eyewear because of its low weight and good resistance to impact and fragmentation compared with more brittle lens materials.
UV400 Protection for Outdoor Use
The KID 6 lenses provide UV400 protection. This means they are designed to filter ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm, covering both UVA and UVB wavelengths.
This makes the model a practical choice for children spending time outdoors in sunny conditions, whether during sport, recreation or everyday activities.
Base 8 Wraparound Geometry
KID 6 uses a Base 8 lens geometry, a strongly curved configuration commonly found in wraparound sports eyewear. This shape allows the frame and lenses to follow the contours of the face more closely than flatter sunglasses.
For a children's sports model, this geometry contributes to a compact, enveloping fit while supporting coverage around the eyes during active outdoor use.

- Child-specific fit: designed for children approximately 6–10 years old.
- Lightweight construction: the complete glasses weigh 24 grams.
