TIGER SUN READING DPOL combines the glare-reducing performance of a Category 3 polarized G15 lens with an integrated bifocal reading segment, creating a practical solution for anglers who see clearly at distance but need additional magnification for close-range tasks. The silver flash mirrored polarized lenses are designed for bright conditions and help manage reflections from the water, while the lower reading area can be used when working with small tackle, knots or fishing equipment. A lightweight TR90 Ultralight frame, adjustable nose pad and Base 8 geometry complete a technical design developed specifically for sport fishing.

The main part of the lens is used as normal for distance viewing, while a distinct magnifying segment positioned in the lower portion of the lens provides additional near-vision power when the wearer looks downward. This configuration keeps the central and upper field available for normal viewing while making close-range detail accessible when required.

DPOL lens technology
Polarized G15 Category 3 Lens for Bright Conditions
Water is one of the environments in which polarization becomes particularly useful. Sunlight reflected from the surface can create intense glare that reduces visual comfort and makes it more difficult to observe the scene beyond the reflections.
The DPOL polarized filter is designed to reduce this reflected glare, helping provide a clearer and more comfortable visual experience during sport fishing. The lens uses a G15 green inner tint and is classified as Category 3, making it suitable for bright outdoor light conditions. A Silver Flash Mirror finish completes the outer surface of the lens.

Unlike progressive lenses, the TIGER SUN READING DPOL uses a clearly defined bifocal reading area. When looking straight ahead through the main section of the lens, the wearer uses normal distance vision. Looking downward through the lower segment provides the selected magnification power.
For anglers, this can make everyday close-range operations more convenient, particularly when handling small fishing components or checking equipment while remaining outdoors in bright conditions.
Because the reading segment occupies only the lower part of the lens, the glasses retain a broad main viewing area for normal sport use.
TR90 Ultralight Frame with Base 8 Geometry
The frame is made from TR90 Ultralight, a material widely used in sports eyewear for its combination of low weight, flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress. The complete glasses weigh 26 grams, helping keep the model comfortable during extended outdoor use.
TIGER SUN READING DPOL uses a Base 8 lens curvature. This strongly curved geometry is characteristic of wraparound sports eyewear and allows the frame to follow the shape of the face more closely than flatter everyday sunglasses.
