The Lavaredo Ultra Trail is a trail running race held annually in the Dolomites, a mountain range located in northeastern Italy. It is considered one of the ultramarats most challenging and prestigious in the world. The race takes participants through breathtaking alpine landscapes and covers a distance ranging from a minimum of 10km to a maximum distance of approximately 120 kilometers with a positive difference in altitude of approximately 5.800 metres.
The Lavaredo Ultra Trail it is organized at the end of June or beginning of July and begins and ends in the city of Cortina d'Ampezzo. The route follows a circular route that takes runners past some of the most iconic peaks in the Dolomites, including Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Monte Cristallo and Tofane.
