Lens technology
Polarized lenses for bright outdoor environments
LIGHT uses polarized polycarbonate lenses. Polarization is designed to reduce reflected glare generated by surfaces such as water, wet ground and other highly reflective environments. This helps create a more comfortable visual experience when outdoor light becomes intense.
The selected version uses a smoke inner lens with a Silver Flash Mirror outer finish. The polarized filter and mirrored external appearance are separate characteristics: polarization manages reflected glare, while the mirror finish defines the external look of the lens.
Reduced reflected glare
The polarizing filter helps limit distracting reflections, particularly useful around water and other bright reflective surfaces.
