Prescription insert for DEMON sports eyewear

Optical Clip for GRAVEL, ROUBAIX, FIANDRE and LIEGI

The DEMON optical clip is a prescription insert designed for compatible GRAVEL, ROUBAIX, FIANDRE and LIEGI sports eyewear. Prescription lenses are fitted directly into the insert by your optician, allowing the same optical clip to be used with multiple compatible DEMON models. With a Base 6 lens geometry and support for both single-vision and multifocal lenses, it provides a practical way to combine prescription correction with technical sports eyewear.

4 Models Compatible with GRAVEL, ROUBAIX, FIANDRE and LIEGI
Base 6 Sport-oriented curved lens geometry
40 × 45 mm Lens height × lens width
TR90 Transparent optical insert
One prescription insert, multiple compatible frames

A Versatile Optical Clip for DEMON Sports Glasses

Prescription vision without permanently modifying the sports lens

Instead of creating a directly glazed prescription sports lens, the optical clip sits behind the main lens of the compatible eyewear. Your prescription is therefore applied to the insert itself while the technical outer lens remains separate.

This configuration is particularly practical for users who want prescription correction while retaining the characteristics of the original sports eyewear.

Interchangeable between compatible models

A key advantage of this optical insert is its compatibility with GRAVEL, ROUBAIX, FIANDRE and LIEGI. Once the prescription lenses have been fitted, the clip can be used with the compatible models rather than being permanently associated with a single sports frame.

This makes the optical clip a flexible solution for users who own or intend to use more than one compatible DEMON model.

Prescription parameters

Supported Prescription Range

The optical clip can be fitted with prescription lenses by a qualified optician. The confirmed maximum prescription parameters for the insert are:

−6.00 / +5.00 Maximum spherical power
±2.00 Maximum cylinder for astigmatism

The insert supports single-vision and multifocal lenses. Final lens suitability should always be assessed by your optician according to the complete prescription and the lens design selected.

Optical geometry

Base 6 Lens Design

The optical insert uses a Base 6 lens geometry. Base 6 describes the curvature of the lenses fitted to the clip and is commonly associated with sporty, curved eyewear configurations while remaining less pronounced than more strongly wrapped lens geometries.

Because prescription requirements vary from person to person, your optician should verify the most appropriate lens material, design and configuration before producing the lenses for the clip.

Compatibility

Compatible DEMON Models

This replacement optical clip is designed for the following DEMON sports eyewear:

GRAVEL ROUBAIX FIANDRE LIEGI
Important compatibility note for GRAVEL: this optical clip is compatible with GRAVEL versions from 2023 onwards. If you own a GRAVEL model manufactured before 2023 and want to use an optical insert, please contact DEMON before ordering to verify compatibility.

Have the Clip Glazed by Your Optician

The optical clip is supplied as the support into which prescription lenses can be fitted. Take the insert to your trusted optician together with your current prescription so that the lenses can be produced and mounted according to your individual visual requirements.

The stated spherical and cylinder values represent the confirmed maximum parameters supported by the clip. The practical feasibility of an individual prescription can also depend on the complete optical prescription and the specific lens design selected, so professional evaluation by the optician remains recommended before glazing.
