The Optical Clip for the FUSION model is the dedicated prescription insert designed to allow FUSION sports glasses to be fitted with corrective lenses. The lenses are made and fitted separately by your trusted optician according to your prescription and the technical characteristics of the insert. With a Base 6 geometry, a lens height of 29 mm and a lens width of 44 mm, the clip provides the optician with clearly defined parameters for preparing the prescription lenses.
This optical clip is designed specifically for the FUSION model. It provides an internal support on which corrective lenses can be prepared and fitted, allowing users who require vision correction to use their FUSION eyewear with prescription lenses.
The corrective lenses are not an integral part of the replacement clip. They must be produced and fitted separately by a qualified optician according to the user's prescription and the technical parameters of the FUSION optical insert.
The FUSION Optical Clip is designed for prescription lenses within the following verified correction limits. These values should be provided to your optician when assessing the suitability of the insert for your prescription.
The clip uses a Base 6 lens geometry, corresponding to a moderately curved lens profile. It is less strongly curved than the high-wrap geometries commonly found on the outer lenses of some sports eyewear.
Each lens fitted to the insert has a specified area measuring 29 mm in height and 44 mm in width. These dimensions, together with the Base 6 geometry, are useful technical references for the optician preparing the corrective lenses.
We recommend showing the FUSION Optical Clip directly to your optician together with your prescription before the lenses are produced. The optician can then assess the most appropriate lens preparation and verify compatibility with the requested correction.
