Photochromic Cycling Glasses for Changing Conditions
Cycling rarely means riding under one constant level of light. Open roads, shaded sections, woodland trails, cloud cover and changes in weather can all alter visibility during the same outing. TIGER addresses these variations with a photochromic lens that changes tint according to exposure to ultraviolet light.
The lens moves between Category 0 and Category 2, from transparent to smoke. This makes the model particularly suitable for rides where conditions can change repeatedly and where a permanently dark sunglass lens may be less versatile.
The sporty wraparound construction also helps provide broad frontal and lateral coverage while riding. Together with the adjustable nose pad and the lightweight TR90 frame, this creates a technical configuration developed specifically for dynamic cycling use.
Category 0–2 Photochromic Lens
The key feature of TIGER is its photochromic lens. The tint responds to changing UV exposure, becoming darker as light intensity increases and returning towards a clearer state when exposure decreases. This automatic variation helps the lens adapt to different environments without requiring a manual lens change.
Its Category 0–2 range means the lens can move from a transparent appearance in very low-light conditions to a smoke tint for moderately bright conditions. For cyclists, this can be particularly useful during early starts, evening rides, cloudy weather and routes that repeatedly alternate between open and shaded areas.

Mountain Biking
MTB routes frequently move between exposed terrain, woodland and shaded trail sections. The Category 0–2 photochromic lens is especially useful in these rapidly changing environments because it can adapt progressively instead of maintaining one fixed level of darkness.
The polycarbonate lens is also appropriate for active off-road use thanks to its low weight and resistance to impact and fragmentation compared with more brittle lens materials.
Lightweight TR90 Frame with Adjustable Nose Pad
TIGER uses an ultralight TR90 frame and has a verified overall weight of 26 grams. TR90 is widely used in sports eyewear because it combines low weight with flexibility and resistance to the mechanical stresses generated during active use.
