Prescription insert for snow goggles

CLIP IN 11 – Universal Optical Clip for DEMON Snow Goggles

CLIP IN 11 is a universal optical clip for snow goggles, designed to allow prescription lenses to be fitted inside compatible DEMON goggles. Instead of wearing a conventional prescription frame beneath the goggle, the insert provides a dedicated internal support for corrective lenses. The transparent TR90 construction keeps the structure discreet, while its Base 6 geometry and generous 50 × 45 mm lens area provide the optical laboratory with a defined platform for fitting prescription lenses.

Universal DEMON Fit Compatible with all goggles in the DEMON collection.

TR90 Transparent, lightweight and flexible frame material.

Mono & Multifocal Designed to support both single-vision and multifocal prescription lenses.

Base 6 Sport-oriented curved lens geometry.

Prescription vision inside the goggle

A dedicated optical insert for skiing and snowboarding

For people who require vision correction, wearing standard glasses underneath a snow goggle can add extra bulk inside the frame. CLIP IN 11 offers a different solution: prescription lenses can be mounted directly into the optical insert by an optician, creating a compact corrective system positioned inside the goggle.

The clip is specifically listed as compatible with all goggles in the DEMON collection. This makes it a practical accessory for customers who want prescription correction while using DEMON ski and snowboard goggles without relying on a separate everyday optical frame beneath the goggle.

Why use an optical clip?

An optical insert provides a dedicated location for prescription lenses inside the snow goggle. Once the lenses have been fitted, the correction becomes part of the internal goggle setup rather than requiring a conventional frame with temples.

Optical compatibility

Supports single-vision and multifocal lenses

CLIP IN 11 is designed to support both single-vision and multifocal prescription lenses. This gives the optician flexibility when preparing the insert according to the wearer's prescription and visual requirements.

Single-vision lenses

The insert can be fitted with monofocal lenses for prescriptions requiring one corrective power across the lens.

Multifocal lenses

The product is also specified as supporting multifocal lenses, allowing a wider range of prescription requirements to be considered by the fitting optician.

Frame construction

Transparent TR90 structure

The optical clip is made from transparent TR90. TR90 is widely used in sports eyewear because it combines low weight with flexibility and resistance to the mechanical stresses that can occur during active use.

In CLIP IN 11, the transparent finish helps the optical insert remain visually discreet once positioned behind the goggle lens, while the curved construction provides the shape required for use inside a sports-oriented snow goggle.

Base 6 lens geometry

The insert uses a Base 6 lens curve. This is a sporty curved geometry with less wrap than a typical Base 8 configuration, providing a defined optical format for prescription lens fitting.

Verified dimensions

50 mm wide × 45 mm high

The prescription lens area measures 50 mm in width and 45 mm in height. These dimensions, together with the Base 6 curvature, provide the key technical references needed when evaluating the insert with your optician.
