BIG LINE, a company based in Vicenza and founded in 1975, is the manufacturer and owner of DEMON eyeglasses. The company began its journey toward corporate sustainability several years ago by engaging in various initiatives:

  • Compliance with health and safety regulations and training for accident prevention in the workplace.

Commitment to the environment sustainability 

COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

  • LED lights have been installed in the company to reduce electricity waste and consumption.
  • The printers in the offices were purchased with the option to refill colors in easily disposable plastic containers.
  • FSC-certified packaging cartons are used for packaging, and the carrier bags are Climate Neutral Packaging made from 80% recycled plastic.
  • The frames are made of carbon fiber and nylon to provide medium- to long-term flexibility and resistance, ensuring the durability of the glasses.
  • In compliance with current regulations, non-toxic paints are used, and the rubberized parts are hypoallergenic.
  • There is a strong focus on digitization, including the reseller service, to reduce the environmental impact of travel routes for commercial agents.
  • The company currently evaluates and selects suppliers based on quality parameters, compliance with order delivery times, and requirements related to health, safety, and the environment.

  • Promotion of the importance of wearing glasses to protect eye health.
