These lenses are not only lighter than those made from conventional materials but also offer greater resistance to impact. In the event of a strong impact—such as a fall or a collision with a branch or stone kicked up by another cyclist—these lenses won’t break apart cleanly. Instead, they create a "cobweb" effect, absorbing the impact and dispersing it across the surface without shattering into dangerous fragments.

Perfect Vision:

Often underestimated, the quality of lenses—especially for MTB—is vital for maintaining a clear sense of depth. Using decentralized and optically optimized lenses allows athletes to accurately perceive the depth of the terrain and see obstacles precisely where they are. For instance, during a challenging MTB ride, a cyclist navigating a narrow passage at slow speed benefits from such lenses, enabling them to determine the exact placement of their wheels. Lenses lacking these characteristics can cause visual distortion and a misleading sense of depth, potentially off by as much as 5 cm. Below are the specifications of each interchangeable lens for cycling and MTB glasses in our lineup:

Smoke Lens Category 3:

The Category 3 smoke lens is often referred to as "the mirrored lens." It features a smoky interior (similar to the tint of standard sunglasses) and a strong mirrored exterior. This lens is ideal for road cycling in both sunny and cloudy conditions. Unlike mountain biking, which frequently involves varying light conditions, road cycling typically experiences more stable lighting. Therefore, even on cloudy days, this lens remains suitable without being excessively dark.

For mountain biking, the smoke lens is perfect for intense and very sunny days. However, if the route includes long stretches of dense brush, we recommend switching to an orange lens, even on bright days. In mixed conditions, the smoke lens performs admirably, providing an excellent balance.

Orange Lens Category 2:

This interchangeable lens is primarily designed for mountain biking. It is preferred over the smoke lens when the route includes long stretches of dense forest with poor visibility or on cloudy days. However, it may alter the aesthetic of the glasses, leading many cyclists to choose the mirrored lens for aesthetic reasons, even on less intensely sunny days.

Transparent Lens Category 1:

This material offers 20% more lightness than conventional options, along with enhanced mechanical resistance to traction and impacts, ensuring improved structural integrity for the lens mechanism. The rubberized components inside the temples and on the nose piece are made from Megol, a unique plastic known for its non-slip properties and softness. Some models also feature an internal aluminum plate that allows for adjustment of the nose pad, providing a customizable fit.
