Collection: DPI Eye Protection

DPI protection of the eyes from external agents

"DPI goggles" and glasses with transparent lenses provide protection for the eyes from external agents.
"For Your Defense" has been BIG LINE's mission since 1975, ensuring total and effective eye protection.

The "For Your Defense" collection contains PPE for eye protection, including mask glasses, single-lens wraparound glasses with transparent lenses, and anti-fog cleaning liquid (available in normal or antibacterial versions) for lens cleaning and fog reduction.

Protect your eyes:

It is essential not to neglect the protection of the eyes by using effective barriers to prevent direct contact of microparticles with them.

Using certified PPE like CE EN 166:2004 is undoubtedly the most effective solution for eye protection.

The use of "PPE goggle glasses" with transparent lenses is certainly the most efficient system for protecting the eyes. However, there are other solutions to better protect the eyes in normal daily life, such as using single-lens wraparound glasses with transparent lenses, which can be effective in preventing microparticles from contacting the surface of the eye.

Therefore, it is recommended to protect your eyes as effectively as possible by using certified PPE or wrap-around glasses with transparent lenses, combined with the use of a face mask and maintaining a safe distance as required by regulations.

Protecting the eyes with "PPE goggles" is essential for healthcare workers, while wrap-around glasses with transparent lenses are important for everyone when traveling outside the home or working in certain environments.

Regarding Transparent Lenses:

Why do protective devices have transparent lenses for the eyes?
PPE lenses and wraparound glasses with clear lenses are more efficient for perfect vision in all lighting conditions. They aim to offer maximum visibility without altering color contrast and at the same time provide an effective barrier from microparticles present in saliva.

In particular, PPE mask glasses with transparent lenses are equipped with an anti-fog treatment (as the glasses rest on the face thanks to a rubberized frame). The device can also be used in combination with optical frames, allowing those who wear glasses to better protect their eyes effectively and comfortably.

How to clean after use?
Multiple steps are recommended for cleaning. (Health workers sanitize PPE with disinfectants to eliminate any particles of possible external agents). For individuals who have used glasses or a mask with transparent lenses during daily life, cleaning should follow this sequence:

Wash the glasses or mask with running water (cold or lukewarm temperature).
Dry with a soft cloth (avoid paper towels or kitchen paper).
Use a cloth moistened with alcohol (and allow to air dry) or lens cleaning liquid (clean the lens and air dry).
Correct cleaning after each use of PPE or wrap-around glasses with transparent lenses is essential.

Lens cleaning liquid:
Lens cleaning liquid is an excellent option for those who use these eye protection tools. Particularly for cleaning the internal surface of the lens, it not only cleans deeply but also forms a film that reduces fogging for subsequent use. Using anti-fog detergent liquid with PPE without air recirculation is a very efficient solution for reducing fogging.

Disposable lens cleaning tissues:
These are very convenient to have on hand, especially when traveling, as they are sold in convenient packs of 24 disposable tissues. They are a perfect alternative to a bottle of anti-fog detergent liquid. Simply open the pack and clean the glasses without necessarily needing liquid and film to clean the lens.

Ensuring good vision and protecting our eyes are essential and fundamental characteristics on which BIG LINE bases its mission.
