The peculiarity of this special lens starting from category 1 color that allows the athlete to use PERFORMANCE, for excursions in the night or simply for the return after sunset, as a simple protection for the eyes from the air.

• Trail Running: PERFORMANCE is the ideal eyewear for the practice of Trail Running, from the simple amateur to the professional. The frame is wide to provide maximum protection to the runner in wooded areas from leaves, branches, earth, insects and all projections that could irritate the eyes.  Do not let the size fool you; the glasses weigh only 30 grams.
  The special latest generation DCHROM lens starting from category 1 color and reaches maximum category 3 (darkness of the mirrored lenses), it lightens and darkens to adapt to any variation of light in the path. The lens is also unbreakable, therefore resistant without breaking even very strong shocks, guaranteeing maximum safety. Adjustable nosepiece and non-slip rubber parts for maximum stability even with very strong jumps and vibrations.
• Road running: PERFORMANCE is also excellent for running on the road. The very wide shape best protects the athlete’s eyes from air, dust, insects and all the pitfalls that could irritate your eyes. The peculiarity is all in the lens that adapts by darkening and lightening with each change of street light. This lens also recommended for very bright light conditions (typical of summer) and for very long use. TECHNICAL FEATURES AND MATERIALS:

The NEW DCHROM Photochromic lenses are lenses that exposed to UV radiation or sunlight in general, initiate a reversible chemical reaction and darken. Once the light irradiation disappears, the lenses gradually return to the initial state of transparency. They are made of first quality polycarbonate. This material has #2 very important technical aspects: it significantly reduces the weight of the lens compared to conventional materials; it also represents a safety in case of impact, as it will not generate any type of fragments that could damage the eye. These high-tech filters also protect against UV rays, confirming a certainty in the field of protection as well as from the point of view of comfort.

The New DCHROM lenses are the evolution of the photochromic lens, they start from category 1 coloring to reach category 3 (MIRROR LENS DARKNESS) during maximum work.

The ultralight material of the frame is TR90, a special composition of Carbon Fiber and Nylon.
