Sporty optical frame with polarized clip model OPTO CHANGE
OPTO CHANGE is the new concept of sports RX optical frames. This special sports optical frame differs from all other RX optical frames for three characteristics, which make it unique in its kind:
Lightness and Stability: Compared to common sports optical frames, the OPTO CHANGE model is characterized by an ultralight frame equipped on the inside with non-allergenic non-slip rubber (typical of sports eyewear). It therefore has important characteristics, such as grip, stability and comfort.
Base 4: Very important is the role played by the use of lenses with low curvature, which allow a simpler graduation, and the assembly of any type of lens. It is therefore possible to mount lenses for the correction of any visual defect, from mono focal, bifocal or progressive lenses.
Design: The design is that of eyewear that can be used daily for any activity, and which becomes excellent in sports. It is therefore also perfect as a first optical frame. The clip with mirrored polarized lenses is ideal for use on sunny days.
The frame is made of TR90, a special composition of carbon fiber and nylon that makes sports eyewear 20% lighter than conventional materials, more resistant to mechanical traction and accidental impacts, increasing their durability over time.
The inner part of the frame is made of hypoallergenic rubberized material, designed and created to provide maximum stability of the eyewear in any sporting activity and to provide perfect comfort. In combination with the frame, the nose pad is also made of soft hypoallergenic rubber and prevents all those annoying micro-slips towards the tip of the nose that disturb during performance.
The base 4 lens therefore allows the creation of any type of prescription lens: Mono focal, Bifocal and Progressive. It will then be possible to create a transparent eyeglass lens, which will be protected by the second polarized lens for exposure to strong sunlight. Completely reducing the cost of graduation of the lens.
The real peculiarity of this frame is the extreme technicality of the materials that make OPTO CHANGE the perfect optical frame for practicing any sport. At the same time, thanks to the design studied in detail, it can be used as an optical frame in everyday life.
Tips for choosing prescription lenses by type of sport:
Road cycling: Generally, those who use the road bike prefer a category 3 smoke lens, here you will have a polarized mirrored lens ideal for any intensity of light, since it does not require the reactivity of a photochromic lens given the few changes of light that generally accompany the athlete in the ride.
Running and Trail Running: It always depends on the time of the performance, we recommend, given the ample possibilities to run at any time, you can therefore choose whether to wear the clip seen or not, or even to be able to remove it at will during the activity.
Tennis: Even for tennis you can use the transparent lens indoors and outdoors in the evening, while outdoors during the day you can use the clip to better protect your eyes from the sun and UV intensity.
Beach Volleyball: Due to the strong UV intensity, we recommend using the polarized mirrored lens category 3 during the day with the sun.
Other sports: Evaluate the amount of time you are exposed to sunlight and how many light changes you will face. If the light changes are mostly minimal, we recommend choosing the use of the category 3 smoke polarized lens clip, in case of low light you can use the clip-less frame.
Important to choose an anti-break lens, to better protect the eye in case of accidental bumps. Also optional are additional specific treatments to be applied to ophthalmic lenses.
