DMN Ski and Snowboard Helmets

Over the years, the use of helmets on the slopes for skiers and snowboarders has increased exponentially, also given the crowding of the slopes and the rider’s desire to always go further with their tricks with the awareness of protecting themselves at best. The DMN collection therefore allows you to choose between two different types of shell:

Half shell with visor: Also called Half Shell, it is the ski helmet with soft ear equipped with a visor for greater comfort while skiing, it is also an excellent solution for those who wear eyeglasses. In fact, it has a very hard outer shell and soft lining in the ear part to increase comfort. This shape offers excellent side impact protection, including in the ear area. These helmets are mainly used for those who practice skiing and the look of those who practice skiing sets them apart. The COMPACT-V model ski helmet represents DMN’s proposal for a protective helmet that at the same time becomes part of your look to be fashionable while protecting your head at best.

The visor is photochromic, a special lens that reacts to light by brightening and darkening to ensure perfect vision of the track.

The sizes of the COMPACT-V model ski helmet are: S 56-57, M 58-59, L 60-61.

Half shell: Also called Half Shell, it is the helmet created initially for skiers and snowboarders and which in recent years is also very popular in the ski world especially for freestyle and freeride, characterized by clothing similar to snowboarding. This type of helmet is equipped with a soft side padding to cover the ear, which significantly increases comfort without losing much in terms of safety. In terms of comfort, it is very important to increase the ventilation produced, in fact this type of helmet is equipped with various holes to obtain the best ventilation in all circumstances and atmospheric conditions. The helmet for Snowboard and Freestyle Ski Action is equipped with a BOA® Fit System to adjust the size and perfect the fit, in fact this special wheel allows you to widen and tighten by about one size. The sizes of the Action model for Snowboard and Freestyle and Freeride Ski are: S 56-57, M 58-59, L 60-61.

All helmets are equipped with an adjustment system with a wheel that varies 1 size that can be tightened and widened for greater comfort and safety.

The Shell is made of ABS for both models, while the internal material is expanded Polystyrene, a material with great elastic capacity and represents a guarantee in the absorption of the structural shock that the shell undergoes during various impacts, protecting the head better.

The upper part of the shell is equipped with an adjustable ventilation system for better cooling of the inner part of the ski helmet shell.

In the back of the shell there is a support to fix the ski goggle to the helmet more effectively.
